Standard tentacle terrors. Annoyingly will always see invis, complicating any escapes from the Dain's Pit. They have an instant knockback ability that can be used at any range and a short cast lifetap, though despite having these abilities they don't have a mana pool, and as such Theft of Thought doesn't work. Some level variance I believe; a rather tough one resisted Trepidation 7x, but on a weaker one it landed without fail. "During my time spent in the pit, 15 slain Frost Spikes yielded 15 Peridots. Occasionally they came alongside crushed gems but were never replaced by them. A welcome occurrence in an otherwise bleak situation." - Decoyboy, 7/13/2025
