You will have to run around and kill the 3 Brownie Scouts, then sit near the small tree ~loc (0, 0). 1 Brownie Scout will spawn there. 7 minute respawn. Kill it till tainted brownie spawns (it will respawn after 7 minutes, not immediately on the death of the scout). Also, 2 brownies spawn farther away at (2nd spawn near 1220 , 600.), (3rd spawn near 1650, 450.), clear these 2 other spawns to increase chance of spawning tainted. Corrupted can be snared and feared, but he summons. Medium difficulty, a trio of mid-50s should be able to handle him if he is kept feared. Soloable by a 60 druid if you have the ganas. He likes to cast Starfire. If you will have his attention, you should have high fire resist. ===Lore=== Brownies live all over the island continent of Faydwer and are more rarely found traveling far and wide from there. Most often, however, they are found in the Faydark Forest, where their isolationist communities keep to themselves in the darkest corners of the great woods. While not an evil or immoral race as a rule, brownies are so fiercely xenophobic and territorial that they usually attack interlopers on sight. Brownies are short and lean, typically wearing clothing that matches the underbrush or trees in color. They have tanned and ruddy complexions and dark hair, and commonly wear face paint for decoration.
