The top monster within Kaesora. Casts some nasty Necromancer spells and hits hard, though doesn't have a pet. His room has four monsters in it (including him / his placeholder). He is on a 30.0 minute spawn timer which is different from the zone's 18 minute general respawn timer. He does NOT always drop a fang, but he commonly drops 2 fangs. The staff is not visible in Xalgoz's hands when on his possession. This means he'll be showing a fang as equipped, yet the stave will be on corpse [provided it dropped]. To reduce the difficulty significantly, engage him before he buffs, particularly his tormenting damage shield which is his third, sometime fourth buff. He is undead, all spells vs. undead work on him. The Staff drop takes 80-120 hours on average. The bottom of the ramp behind his spawn is a safe spot and typically where you'll find the people camping him. You can Bind in this zone, although it will give you messages that you can't, and that you did. You will receive both of these messages when you try, but your bind point will change: * "You cannot seem to develop an affinity for this place. Try a city." * "You feel yourself bind to the area."
