This quest is one of two which follows Series C Black Boxes given by Drekon Vebnebber, located at 866, -475, -30 in the Gemchoppers (Warrior) Hall.

Drekon Vebnebber says, 'Oh my!! It seems two of the obsolete duster models were not fully shut down. You must find them. They could be anywhere in Ak'Anon!! After you destroy them, take their scraps to Sanfyrd Montop. He is the operator of the scrapyard.'

Duster V (or its placeholders Scrubber IV or Cleaner X) spawn every 4 minutes in the Palace at 788, -177, -30 where it will then walk near to the Steamfont Mountains entrance at -27, 20, -26. After a brief pause, it will proceed to walk to the loom located at 763, 165, -26. After yet another pause, it will then proceed to sprint back to its origin in the Palace where it will despawn. The placeholders are common and Scrubber IV is level 12.

Upon dispatching Duster V, loot a piece of Scrap Metal from its corpse.

Duster X spawns 1 min after handing Drekon Vebnebber a Daily Log on the wall above the Mines of Malfunction, east of the paddle wheel at 1916, -372, -124. It will immediately sprint south through the tunnel and to the right over the bridge to 1679, -226, -123. After a brief pause it will sprint south to the end of the pier at 1508, -302, -122 and pause again. At this point Duster X will reverse course, walking back to its midpoint location, then sprint from there back to its origin point. He will repeat this cycle until killed.
