Gehna Solbenya says 'Greetings and blessings to you. Karana offers you his protection and guidance. All who accept the offer shall find safe haven within our Temple of Thunder. If you are a cleric of Karana, you must have a [desire to serve Karana]'s flock.'

You say, 'I desire to serve Karana's flock'

Gehna Solbenya says 'If you are a young acolyte, you may [deliver blessings to the flock] and if you are a skilled cleric, we need you to [hunt bandit binders].'

(On Aprehensive, her reply instead is: "[...]But this matter is of vital importance to us and we need more proof of your devotion to our cause." And the quest does not start. Dec/18/21, Green)

Gehna Solbenya says 'Then go to the Plains of Karana. It is there that the blessings are needed. Ask every resident of the plains if they are followers of Karana. If they are, then ask them if they [require Karana's blessings]. Let them drink from this temple chalice. Return the empty chalice to me and you shall never go thirsty again.'

Head to the Western Plains of Karana and find Minda. She's at a farm house along the southern boundary of the zone (#15 on map).

Minda says 'Hello. Nice to make your acquaintance. Be careful in the plains. There are many creatures. Just stay close to the guard towers.'

You say, 'Are you a follower of Karana?'

Minda says 'Yes. I am a follower of Karana, the Rainkeeper. It is He who keeps the plains fertile.'

You say, 'Do you require Karana's blessings?'

Minda says, 'Of the things I desire, I can think of nothing I wish for more than the blessings of Karana. By drinking from the temple chalice of a Karana cleric I can attain this.'

Hand her the Full Chalice:

Minda says 'May the Rainkeeper keep you safe. I thank you. Here is the empty chalice. By the way, inform your superior that the operations of the [Karana bandits] are getting closer to Qeynos.'
