I think his name began with an L? Lamet? Lamile? Something like that. Do you see how memory decays without the Icestar's light? Making it whole again is no longer a wish — it's a necessity. Before more names are lost. Bring me back anything that can help restore this memory.'

Isolde Winterveil places the broach on a frozen tablet. It dissolves into silver light, etching new text onto a frosted page. She says, 'Then the echo has found its voice. Another soul no longer lost. The margins of the preamble grow fuller. And the Icestar shines a little brighter.'
